ARLINGTON CLEAN AIR INITIATIVE - ARLINGTON GREEN GAMES

WEBSITE

Our working challenge has been to raise the visibility of our client, the Arlington Initiative to Reduce Emissions (AIRE) and communicate its message to environmental and business leaders in Arlington and throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Using graphic design and creative print materials to communicate AIRE’s messages, Bravery Corporation has created and executed an integrated communications strategy for AIRE that includes advertising support, website design and development, marketing counsel, collateral materials, and targeted branding around a business outreach program. We have worked extensively with AIRE to develop valuable messages about renewable energy, which are targeted to niche audiences, including business leaders and Metro area citizens.

Our current work with AIRE has involved the creation and realization of the “Arlington Green Games,” an expansive, multi-year effort encouraging commercial office buildings to reduce their carbon emissions. Bravery Corporation developed a competitive game-like marketing campaign, coining the title of the program and creating its graphic identity and online headquarters. Supporting AIRE from day one, Bravery Corporation has been providing targeted strategic counsel, event planning, advertising support and all design work to support the competition, which is currently in-action on the lively and detailed website we created for the program: www.arlingtongreengames.com.

Following the debut of the Arlington Green Games in October of 2010, the campaign’s graphic identity was selected as a Marcom Gold Design Award Winner, honoring the unique AGG logo. Also in October, 360jmg and AIRE successfully launched the Arlington Green Games website, with the ability to measure reductions in office building emissions over a two-year period.  The interactive, multi-level website allows for both scoring and social networking capabilities, and was developed in Drupal with public and private sections for nuanced user flow. Additionally, Bravery Corporation created social media landing pages (Twitter and Facebook) and acquired substantial follower-bases before the official launch of AIRE’s Arlington Green Games in January of 2011.
