Project Oxpeck was born from the idea that everyone depends on their friends to get them through the best and worst of times. The tiny oxpecker journeys with the massive rhinoceros wherever it goes; the bird helps keep the rhino clean and healthy, while having a snack of its own. Inspired by this coexistence, our mission is to use technology to help people support important charities performing brave work every day.
Bravery is happening all the time in ways large and small: from doctors working overtime in free clinics and foreign lands, or family members smiling quietly through adversity, to fans of the Cleveland Browns keeping hope alive year after year. We hope you can have fun with this project while recognizing a charity whose brave work is important to you.
